Whether you are new to the industry or you are an experienced pro and want to get better at teaching beginner skiers, this course is designed to prepare you for elements of the Level 1 Assessment. Spend 2 days on-snow exploring aspects of teaching, movement analysis and skiing demonstrations for the beginner zone. This entry level, discounted course will boost your skills and resume when looking to land that first industry job. Completion of the Level 1 e-learning module will be required before attending this clinic.
*THIS COURSE IS REQUIRED, if you are not affiliated with a ski school or have not gone through a new hire training clinic at a Snowsports School.

Helmet Policy: When attending PSIA-AASI events hosted at Vail Resorts (VR), all participants and clinic leaders will maintain the use of a helmet while sliding or riding. Participants who do not abide by this policy will not be allowed to participate in the RM event until they can comply with the policy. VR owned resorts within the Rocky Mountain Division are Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Crested Butte. For all other event locations, helmets are highly encouraged to best role model professionalism and safety within the industry.
