Alpine Boot Balancing & Alignment - Beaver Creek

Registration Deadline 1/21/2019 Members and candidates with disabilities (whether physical or cognitive), who are considering applying for a certification exam must contact the Steamboat Springs office at least four weeks in advance of the scheduled test or exam to provide notice of their requested reasonable accommodation and to discuss their situations before the registration deadline date. This two-day equipment-oriented clinic will focus on balancing and alignment issues for all alpine and telemark skiers. Topics include biomechanics, equipment considerations and individual skier characteristics and alignment aspects.

Location & Date: The event will be held February 12- 13thth at Beaver Creek

Check-in Time/Location: Check in will be at 8:30 a.m. in the Blue Spruce Meeting Room in the Beaver Creek Lodge (26 Avondale Lane – this is the building directly next to where the shuttle drops you off at Beaver Creek). Look for PSIA signs and staff directing you to the Blue Spruce meeting room on the second floor of the Beaver Creek Lodge.  

Please leave on-snow equipment outside the building. Skis and snowboards can be left on the front patio of the Revolution Restaurant. NO SKIS OR SNOWBOARDS INSIDE THE LODGE. All personal belongings must be left inside the Larkspur Meeting Room. Storage in the hallways outside of the meeting rooms is not allowed.


Discounted Lodging: Discounted lodging is available at the Inn & Suites at River Walk in Edwards by using the PSIA discount of 15%. To book online at use ID #00224550 under the group rate dropdown.


Parking: Valet parking is an option at the Beaver Creek Lodge for $39/day based on availability. There is paid parking up at Beaver Creek Village for $35/day, otherwise there is parking located at the Base of Beaver Creek in the Bear Lot and Elk Lot for $10/day and a shuttle will take you up and drop you off right in front of the Beaver Creek Lodge:

Please know that you will be asked:

  • Bring your employee pass if you are employed by the host area. Lift tickets are generously donated by the host area for those not employed there.
  • Please be sure your equipment meets current safety and DIN specifications.
