Participants will be evaluated in a friendly, non-threatening manner in areas of Cross Country teaching, personal skiing skills and technical knowledge for both Classic and Skate technique. Teaching scenarios, group and individual movement analysis and plenty of skiing will be the venues for participants to demonstrate their understanding of modern Cross-Country teaching and skiing. The XC Level 1 Certification Workbook (please download from PSIA-RM website) must be completed and turned in at the certification event. Participants who meet or exceed the standard will be certified Level 1 at the completion of the course.
Equipment: Classic & Skate ski equipment for skiing groomed trails

Location & Date: The exam will be held February 13th at the Gold Run Nordic Center (200 Clubhouse Drive, at the Breckenridge Golf Club)
Check-in Time/Location: Check in will be at 8:30 a.m. at the Gold Run Nordic Center
